After a 35 year business career spent in NYC and the Berkshires, Jim Cervone, an avid amateur chef, and proud Italian, decided to pursue his passion for food specifically pizza! Jim’s love of food began at Sunday dinners at his Italian immigrant grandparents in Astoria NY. Jim spent several years visiting acclaimed urban pizza cafes, attending trade shows, baking pizza in his home until he found what he felt was the perfect pizza crust, red sauce, cheese, and toppings. Then goal was to build the best pizza regardless of cost and offer it for a reasonable price.

On August 31, 2020, CRUST opened its doors on East Street in Pittsfield and has since been serving up some amazing pizza to rave reviews. CRUST embraces the best qualities of Neapolitan and NY styles, and we refer to ours as NEO-NY. With a name like CRUST our focus is on the dough. Our dough is made with a special blend of Italian flours and old-world techniques. The result is a flavorful thin, airy crust with a soft crunchy bite. We keep our menu simple and let the dough and other high-quality ingredients speak for themselves.

The Stefanopoulos brothers emigrated from Greece in the early 1970’s with the hopes of success. Their strong unity cultivated ideas, love for one another, and inspiration. Together they opened their first location in Connecticut during 1972. By 1974 the brothers owned five restaurants, one by the name of Brothers Pizza. It was during that period the famous pizza recipe was founded at the Brothers Pizza location in Lakeville, CT. Quite rapidly, their reputation and knowledge of making flavorful recipes grew. Brothers Pizza became an immediate success! Since then, the brothers have been accommodating to customers needs by offering unique tastes, consistency, and exceptional service.

The year was 1976. It was the collaboration of the four brothers that gave way to the name Four Brothers Pizza Inn and its continuing success. During that same year, the famous Greek salad dressing recipe was formulated. Since then the brothers expanded their portfolio of restaurants to 9 Four Brothers while adding The Boathouse in Lakeville, CT. The family uses their local farm to supply the restaurants with certain dairy products and their olive orchards in Greece for olive oil. Today, people throughout New England have discovered from personal experience that the best pizza and salads, among other delicious menu items, is to be found at your local Four Brothers location.

The Sherwood Shoppe aims to be a cornerstone in the community.  Our focus is on building a solid customer base by creating a bright, friendly atmosphere where both year round customers and seasonal customers feel comfortable and welcomed.  As well as offering general store merchandise and beer/wine/liquor, our vision is to create a meeting place for the community to gather and share breakfast/lunch/supper/dessert/coffee/and community events.

Zucchini's restaurant is a family restaurant with private banquet facilities and full service catering, providing the Berkshires with high quality food and service. Husband and wife team Mickey and Lynne Soldato have over 40 years of combined experience in the restaurant business. Two years ago they decided to combine their talents to create Zucchini's Restaurant and provide the community with a place to go where they could get a great meal at a reasonable price and feel comfortable. Zucchini's has been received with open arms from the community and has been recognized in the New York Times.
